Ram 2500 Ladder Rack – Ryder Rack WELD
Custom Aluminum Rack for Ram 2500
This Ram 2500 ladder rack is a fully welded Ryder Rack WELD built for a heavy-duty crew cab truck. We designed the rack to match the cab and 6.5′ bed, so it follows the truck’s lines and still offers full-length support. Because the rack extends forward past the windshield, long ladders and material stay stable at highway speed.
Standard Features on Ryder Rack WELD
Our Ryder Rack WELD series uses 2″ anodized aluminum pipe for strength with low weight. Wind deflectors at the cab help reduce noise on the road. A removable rear bar lets you load tall items into the bed without fighting the rack. In addition, we use a no-drill mounting system on most late-model trucks, which keeps the bed rails clean if you ever trade the truck.
Upgrade Options and Tie-Downs
Many customers add 4–6 auto-retracting rack straps to make tie-downs faster and safer. These straps mount at the bed rails and near the rear bar, so you can secure ladders, lumber, and pipe in seconds. Some owners also choose Ryder Rack STUD style crossbars for extra support or for shorter loads. Because we build each rack to order, we can place crossbars where you use them most.
Fitment, Finish, and Freight Options
Before we weld a frame, we confirm cab style, bed length, and any toolboxes or bed covers. This step keeps the Ram 2500 ladder rack clear of accessories and fuel doors. Our standard finish is bright anodized aluminum, which holds up well in harsh weather and is easy to wash. However, we also offer modular racks that can ship by freight and bolt together on arrival.
