Custom T Top for a Boston Whaler 220 Outrage

We built this Boston Whaler 220 T Top for a 220 Outrage owner who wanted more shade, storage, and security offshore. The top follows the lines of the console and deck, so it looks like it came with the boat. Because we build every frame to fit a specific hull, the finished setup feels solid at speed and moves cleanly through the wind.

Canvas, Frame, and Standard Features

Our custom boat T tops come with Sunbrella canvas, four welded rod holders, an anchor light, and professional installation. We use anodized aluminum pipe for the frame, since it resists corrosion and cleans up easily after a long day on the water. In addition, Sunbrella offers excellent UV protection and comes in many colors, so you can match cushions, hull graphics, and other trim.

Grab Rails, Rod Holders, and Lighting

This 220 Outrage received wrap-around grab rails with integrated kingfish rod holders. As a result, anglers can hold onto the rail while setting lines and fighting fish. The owner also chose LED spreader lights, which brighten the cockpit for night runs and dockside work. If you want more options, we can add a radio box, life jacket storage, or extra rod holders. Fit, Finish, and On-Water Use

We measured the console carefully before welding; therefore, the legs land in strong spots without eating up foot room. The ring size gives wide coverage from sun and rain, while still leaving space for antennas and electronics. Meanwhile, smooth welds and tight canvas keep the top quiet when you run offshore. Overall, this custom T top adds shade, storage, and a clean, factory-style look.
