We installed this Ryder Rack WELD with Topsider toolboxes on a local contractor’s crew‑cab pickup. We build every rack to order, so the fit is always perfect and the fully‑welded frame feels solid. It comes with a removable rear bar, wind deflectors and full‑length bed rails that clamp on without drilling. The over‑cab extension stretches past the windshield to support long materials, and the deflectors keep things quiet at highway speeds. Twin topsider toolboxes mount under the rack and provide weather‑sealed doors and drawers. They keep tools secure and leave the bed open. We fabricate the frames from anodized aluminum pipe, so they won’t rust or stain your truck. The 2‑inch pipe measures 2.375 inches outside, giving the rack enough strength to carry whatever your truck can handle.

You choose how to configure your WELD with Topsiders. Powder‑coating in dozens of colors adds a custom look, while the anodized finish comes standard. Many customers add our auto‑retracting rack straps. These spring‑loaded tie‑downs secure ladders and lumber in seconds and eliminate loose ends. You can also add tie‑down points, boat‑style cleats or extra cross‑bars. We build the topsider boxes in 12‑ or 18‑inch heights. You can install them on either or both sides, depending on how much storage you want.

Local Installation vs Freight

We fully weld this rack, so we install it at our Wilmington, North Carolina facility. We don’t ship single units. If you live outside our region, consider the modular Ryder Rack SILVER, which we freight and you assemble on‑site. Bring your truck or follow our measurement guide. We build to your bed width, length and cab height to ensure a perfect fit. After installation, the removable rear bar lets you forklift pallets or haul tall equipment.
