Custom T Top for Nautic Star Boats

We installed this Nautic Star T Top for a customer who wanted more shade, storage, and rod space. This custom canvas top was built specifically for this boat, so the frame follows the console and deck lines. Because we fabricate each top to fit a particular hull, the result looks factory and feels solid when you run offshore.

Canvas, Colors, and Frame Finish

Our custom canvas T tops include four rod holders, Sunbrella canvas, an anchor light, and professional installation. Sunbrella is the industry standard and comes in more than 150 colors, so it is easy to match your seats and hull. The aluminum pipe has an anodized coating that helps protect against corrosion. However, we also offer powder coating in many colors for owners who want a different look.

Rod Holders, Radio Box, and Upgrades

This Nautic Star received a fiberglass electronics box mounted under the T top, which keeps the VHF radio and small gear up and dry. The customer also added extra rod holders so lines can run out the sides for trolling. In addition, we can add life jacket storage, spreader lights, and radar pads. Fitment and Installation Process

Before we weld a frame, we measure the console, deck, and any doors or hatches that need to open. This step keeps the top clear of moving parts and helps us place the legs in strong mounting locations. We install each top with stainless hardware and backing plates, so the frame stays tight and quiet in rough water. The result is a clean, secure setup that is easy to maintain.
